If you are having trouble
viewing the Cleveland House Live Web Cam Feed from our facility it more
than likely may be due to the following
Personal Configuration Settings in your Computers Internet Browser. |
|
There is only 1 (one) setting in Internet Explorer
that may have to be changed and takes only a few seconds to do this
for the LIVE WEBCAM to work! |
|
If you need

or our Webmaster will assist you immediately! |

INTERNET EXPLORER SETTINGS Version 6 and 7 |
|
In order for our facility to
be viewed on your Computer our Camera Interface will need to install an
ACTIVE-X Component called DVR CONTROL to allow you to remotely choose
8 (eight) different Cameras in our facility. |
|
Upon entering the Password
obtained from us a file called DVRX.ocx must be installed on your
Computer. |
|
There are two reasons for
this. |
|
The first so that you may
again choose the "Camera Remotely" to view our facility |
|
The second for Security
Purposes. Multiple State of the Art Visual Live Camera FEED access is time
sensitive and monitored by the Cleveland House. |
|
The DVRX.cox file has been custom
created for the Cleveland House and there fore not registered with
Microsoft. |
|
The DVRX.ocx file is private
and protected due to the security
issues of our facility and for our guests anonymity and peace of mind. |
|
Our Website is insured by
Network Solutions, Inc. for $1,000,000 (one million dollars)
assuring
anyone staying in our facility and or sending us information via our Web
Site is protected and Safe. |

Internet
Explorer Version 6
will not have a problem with the DVRX.ocx file, if you
experience a problem using Internet Explorer Version 6 please call us immediately
at 1-888-80-SOBER. |
|
Internet Explorer Version 7 a
Security Setting must be changed to allow for the DVRX.cox file to be
installed on your Computer. |
|
After you have viewed our Live
Webcam Tour of our Facility and you wish to remove the DVRX.ocx file from
your Computer you may and instructions are included on this page to both
allow the DVRX.ocx file to be installed and then removed if you like. |
|
The DVRX.ocx file is not spy
ware and will not hurt your Computer in any capacity. |
|
The DVRX,ocx file
may be kept on you Computer in the event you wish to view our Facility
again to show others about the Cleveland House |
|
CHANGING SECURITY SETTINGS INTERNET EXPLORER Version 7 |
|
Open Internet Explorer 7 and
click on TOOLS then on INTERNET OPTIONS then on the SECURITY TAB and choose
the INTERNET ZONE and then CUSTOM LEVEL (or settings). |
|
Scroll down until you see
UNSIGNED ACTIVE X CONTROLS and choose the "PROMPT" setting as shown in the
Diagram below. |

Restart Internet Explorer 7
and try again, This time you will see a message from Microsoft asking if
you want to install the DVRX.ocx Active X Control and chose INSTALL. |
|
Its that simple. Sit back have
a cup of Coffee and View our Facility Live from anywhere in the World!

REMOVING THE DVRX.ocx FILE in INTERNET EXPLORER Version 7 |
|
Open Internet Explorer 7 and
click on TOOLS then on INTERNET OPTIONS then on PROGRAMS and then click on
MANAGE ADD-ONS. |
|
You have 2 (two) options at
this time. The first option is to ENABLE or DISABLE DVR CONTROL (dvrx.ocx
file) or completely remove the DVR CONTROL Camera
Protocol from your
Computer in its entirety! |
